Tier 1 roles with an accredited-employer job offer can apply for residence as soon as you have the offer.
Green List — Work to Residence
Tier 2 roles qualify after 24 months' employment with an accredited employer.
Care Workforce — Work to Residence
24 months in roles such as Aged Carer, Nursing Support Worker or Residential Care Officer.
Transport Sector — Work to Residence
A dedicated work-to-residence pathway for eligible transport-sector roles.
Skilled Migrant Category
A points system: 6 points to apply, from occupation, qualification and income, plus up to 3 for work experience.
